about the patio
The Cantor Karla Ember Memorial Patio, located between the north parking lot and the Ezra Storm Shorr Memorial Basketball Court, became a reality in December 2012 and was soon followed by the construction of the surrounding memorial garden, ramada, and Butterfly Garden. All were made possible through the sales of memorial bricks, garden dedications, and generous member donations.

We invite you to honor Karla by purchasing one or more commemorative bricks. Bricks will be engraved according to your instruction.
Bricks can advertise a business or honor a family member, an anniversary, a birth of a child, graduation, B’nai Mitzvah, a loved one who has passed, or any other person or event that touches your heart.

- 21 characters per line (including spaces)
- $125 for first brick
- $100 for each additional brick

- 8 lines of text
- 21 characters per line (including spaces)
- $300 for each brick
To place an order:

- In the "Type" box, scroll down to "Brick - Memorial Patio" to pay for the brick
- Email your inscription for each brick to the office at admin@chaverim.net
- Messages are centered both vertically and horizontally.
- Engraving is all uppercase letters.
- Characters include spaces and punctuation.
- Symbols, including custom logos, may be added to a brick for an additional $10 per brick. Custom logos may have a setup fee.
- Engraving is available in Hebrew.
- Please let us know if you want something different.
